Vilamoura is a "big resort" designed to be able to ride a bicycle safely. The bicycle is a popular form of transport to reach shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. In addition, it is very common for road cyclists to come to train. Whatever your form of use on two wheels, Vilamoura is the place for you.

Vilamoura has a good network of cycle paths, allowing cyclists to make a circuit around the city, often faster than in a car. Didn't you bring your own bike? You can rent one of the IF Vilamoura bikes to go for a ride.

The Algarve region, mainly Vilamoura, is predominantly flat and with well-maintained roads; that is why it is so popular with road cyclists. The sun shines regularly, the wind is generally weak; it is therefore the right place to put your legs to pedal.
