Vilamoura is the perfect place for surfers and bodyboarders. If you want to explore the surf spots of this magnificent coastline then IF Vilamoura is your ideal base. The peak wave season is during winter, but Vilamoura receives waves all year round.
Surfer's Paradise
IF Vilamoura was also designed with surfers in mind and the need for them to have ample and safe space to store their boards and wetsuits. We have an area with a hose and running water to wash and hang the suits, so you don't need to wear soggy, sand-filled suits! We also have super fast wifi so you can check the surf report and plan your trip. In case of doubt, our staff has been surfing these waters for 30 years, so we know where it will be good!
Surf Lessons
IF Vilamoura collaborates with the Vilamoura Surf Project surf school to offer its guests and visitors surf lessons and equipment rental at the best prices. The surf school can pick you up at IF Vilamoura and take you to the best surf spot of the day. The Vilamoura Surf Project is experienced in giving introductory classes for beginners, as well as training and orientation for surfers and bodyboarders.
